Richmond, VA— Today Virginia Legislative Black Caucus (VLBC) member Delegate Don Scott (D-80th, Portsmouth) was elected House Democratic Leader in the Virginia House of Delegates.
“I congratulate our VLBC colleague on his election to House Democratic Leader,” said VLBC Chairman Delegate Lamont Bagby (D-74th, Henrico). “His passion to address kitchen table issues facing Virginians will be valuable as we work to protect the progress we’ve made in the last two years and the progress we’ll continue to fight for. Don is focused on winning back the majority because that is the only way we ensure Virginia is open and inclusive for everyone.”
